Sense of Space and other Random stuff「Late/Unit 13」
I went to a pop exhibition called Sence of Space on the, there were 4 rooms that were meant to mess with your sense of space, however, there was on;y one room that really did that for me which was the Infinity garden.
Before the exhibition
On the way to the exhibition, I got lost as my Mom phone GPS was going mad so we had to look with our eyes causing us to find these stairs that when looked at the right way looked like a wall that had graffiti on it. Turns out this was meant to promote the Sence of Space exhibition.
The Doodle room
The first room you enter was the doodle room, it's a room where everything was doodled on by Mr. Doodle from the floor the chair, the counter if it was in the room it was doodled on. I skipped this room unknowing that it was a room and not just an entrance into the rest of the rooms until I had to look up the names of the room.
Infinity Garden
The Infinity garden was part of a Japanese style garden that had mirror walls making it look like the garden went on forever. The illusion kinda work cause if you looked at the mirror the right way the room seemed to go on forever but the rest of the time it just looked like a room with mirrors for walls.
The motion box.
This room was just a dark room that was black except for the one wall that was white which had had this weird blob person thing projected on it and a tablet on a stand. From what little I understood you were supposed to use the table to chose a song that had to do with an emotions with it.... the blob thing shake differently depending on the emotion and there was also a sensor so when you move the blob thing also moved but there were a bit too many people in there so he blob thing looked like it was having a panic attack.
The Zen Studio
It just felt like a room with a huge bean bag and pillows in the middle of the room with calming music. I think it was meant to make you calm but it just confused me.
After the exhibition
Being kinda bombed out from leaving the exhibition thinking there were only 3 rooms I looked for a McDonalds to forget it all but being the great traveler I am I got lost and a door to nowhere
Overall the trip didn't have much to do with the project and I didn't get much out of it but at least it was somewhat fun.
