Project Idea「Unit 12」

My idea for this project is a sureal comedy show aimed at chrildren aged 12+, the reason I am doing this is becuase there is a lack of cartoons like this in media.

My insperration for this project are shows like Grimm Adenture of Billy and Mandy, Chowder and Courage the Cowardly as their sence of humour is sureal and at times really dark.

The cartoon won't have a on going story as it will make getting into episode without having to know alot of stuff before hand due to that nature it would be easy for it to find air time on tv as the channel won't have to make sure that everyone has caught up with the show.

The color scheme... Well, the color sheme will be mostly dull colour colors leaving bright colours for moments of surealsim. talking leaving stuff for just surealsim the cartoon will have moments of 4th wall breaks

Rotoscoping 「Unit 13」

I had tried my hand at rotoscoping as I wanted to see how I feel about in a practical setting. I first had to film the movements that I wanted to rotoscope link to the videos here . With the use of a Video I used called 'Hand Squid' as a tester and put it into Photoshop, with the use of the timeline feature and a graphics tablet I pretty much traced a part of the video frame by frame although I didn't think it was that good as I am not used to using a graphics tablet it had given me a clearer vision of what I want to do for the final outcome. I won't be looking to use rotoscope for the final animation however as I didn't like the process of getting live footage of something then animating over it. The link to the animtion is here
